January 19th, Celtics forward Jaylen Brown accepted the training after today’s training
interview.
After a full workout with the Boston Celtics on Wednesday morning, Brown told the media he was “feeling good” and excited about the prospect against the Warriors.
“We’ll see how I feel after today, but I’ve been training really well, strength training, doing some live work, moving around a little bit,” Brown said. “We’ll see if I have any
Soreness, but I think I’m okay, I think I’m fine. So, I’m looking forward to tomorrow.”
Referring to his previous adductor injury, Brown said: “During the game, I felt a little bit of a burning pain in it, and after the game, it was very sore. So I went for an MRI, just to be cautious, you know.
I guess the test showed a lot of fluid in it, like a first degree strain or something, I’ve had it in different places before. So I just started the recovery process from there.”
Looking ahead to tomorrow’s game, Brown said: “I think tomorrow’s probably going to be a big day for us to continue our momentum. Seven games in a row, you want to keep going up and try to keep a little distance from the rest of the East and the rest of the league. But,
From an organizational standpoint, they have no incentive to bring me back tomorrow. They want to make sure I’m generally healthy. But, if I can play, I’ll play.”
The Celtics will host the Warriors at 8:30 tomorrow.
