On December 24, Beijing time, the 76ers played the Clippers at home. After the whole game, 76ers 119-114 reversed the Clippers.
Throughout the game, 76ers guard James Harden started 41 minutes, shooting 6-of-17, 3-of-7, 5-of-6 free throws and 20 points, 11 rebounds and 21 assists. 21 assists equalled the 76ers’ record and set a new high for Harden’s personal career.
After this game, Harden became the first player in the history of the 76ers and the ninth player in history to score 20 points + 20 assists with a triple-double. The other eight players who did this were Westbrook (5 times), Magic Johnson (3 times), Oscar Robertson (3 times), Wilt Chamberlain, Isiah Thomas, Rod Strickland, Guy Rogers and Luca Doncic.
