January 12, , according to Suns general manager James Jones, team forward Cameron Johnson is close to comeback.
Jones said in an interview: “He (Johnson) is in the late stages of recovery, but in terms of a clear timetable, I have no news yet.”
“I do know that at some point in the near future, we’re supposed to have him back. I just can’t tell you if that’s in five days, 10 days, but every day he’s getting closer.”
According to reports, Johnson has been increasing the intensity of training in the past week, doing a lot of dribbling training after shooting training, and all signs indicate that he is getting closer and closer to his comeback.
This season, Johnson played 8 games for the Suns, averaging 13 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
