January 11th, the Rockets are about to start a four-game streak, Jaylen Green was interviewed this week
, talked about his poor performance against the Timberwolves in the last game (33 minutes 4 of 15 shots, 1 of 6 three-pointers, only 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists)
“It was one of those nights and it was a lesson. I’m not going to be perfect every game, I’m not going to make shots every game, I think I can learn from that, I wasn’t aggressive last game,
I wasn’t chasing the score. I couldn’t play that way and it let my team down,” Jaylen Green said.
“I have to run up and fight back, create easy shots, get a few free throws, play pick-and-rolls, get easy scoring opportunities, and make myself play easier.” Jaylen Green continued, “Win free throws
Just play aggressive, you have to play fast, be physical and know when to attack.”
Talking about returning to his hometown in the next two games to play against the Kings, Jaylen Green said: “This is my dream. In the NBA, I talked about it with my family and friends. They will come to watch me.
The game, I think it’s a big moment for me.”
Next, the Rockets will play two consecutive games with the Kings in Sacramento (back-to-back the next day), and then go to Los Angeles to play two back-to-back games with the Clippers and the Lakers.
