January 15th, the NBA regular season Trail Blazers beat the Lone Ranger 136-119 at home.
After the game, Mavericks coach Jason Kidd was interviewed.
In this game, Doncic didn’t feel good. He played 36 minutes and made 7 of 19 shots, 0 of 5 three-pointers, 15 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists.
“Every pick-and-roll, they’re double-teaming Doncic, he’s reading the floor so well, he only has one turnover.”
Kidd said.
“We hit the shot, our offense is not a big problem, the problem is defense, we didn’t participate today.”
Kidd said.
Talking about the impact of injuries on the team, Kidd said: “I don’t think it has much impact. We won in Los Angeles. We won 24 wins and 20 losses. We have been affected by injuries for most of the season.”
“There are other guys coming out, everybody’s competing, doing everything to help their teammates on the court, both offensively and defensively,” Kidd said.
