January 24 News Today, the Lakers officially announced that they got Hachimura from the Wizards.
According to the Lakers team reporter Buha, the trade to get Hachimura does not rule out that the Lakers will make another deal before the trade deadline (2.10).
The Lakers also have Westbrook, Beverly, Lonnie Walker and two first-round picks (2027, 2029), and they can pay these chips when upgrading the lineup.
With Davis on the verge of returning, the Lakers are further evaluating the roster and rotation and are still deciding whether they want to make a small or big upgrade to a tradeable draft asset.
At this point, their most likely move would be to trade Beverley and a protected lottery first-round pick for another wing or frontcourt.
But the Lakers are willing to consider adding more assets for better players, depending on how well Davis recovers and what the market looks like as the deadline approaches.
