The Celtics’ defense was better in the fourth quarter, limiting the Warriors and Raptors to 36 total points in the fourth quarter when they trailed, and Horford was the chief contributor.
The Celtics had the fourth-best bench in the league for two consecutive seasons. Tatum missed the game with wrist soreness against the Raptors, while Robert Williams and Smart left the game with ankle injuries.
Chad and Grant Williams stepped forward and made 8 of 13 three-pointers to help the team win the game.
During the winning streak, Brogdon averaged 18.7 points per game with an effective field goal percentage of 64%.
